I wake up feeling refreshed, unusually more energy than previous days. During the summer, 6am started my day as I wake up to go work out and run some errands. The heat of the summer had my blood flowing as I start to attack the day head on. As fall started to show up around the corner, my days felt slower due to the weather changing, my body adjusting to the sporadic DC weather, as well as lack of motivation to even go work out. This morning, I had that perfect sensation of comfort when my room was cold but after being under the blanket all night, my body’s warm so I stick out one foot…That cool temperature hitting your warm foot is just a nice relief…Which is probably why I stayed in bed way longer and gave up on working out! Have you ever had those moments where you were on such a great streak then all of a sudden you experience a huge slump?
I’ve done so much rewiring on this blog, that I even started neglecting my own personal goals to improve my lifestyle. I guess I’m due for rewiring! New day, new week, new outlook. The one new habit I’ve recently started is to never leave my bed with a negative thought as soon as I open my eyes and stand. It’s a nice start to my day and it helps me stay grounded and in tune with what my goals are for the day without letting anything disrupt the positive vibes.
